Week 8 EOC: The Adventure

On the next adventure of Plileas Fogg he came to into the Port of Spain. He strolls into harbor and found some local fishermen who capture crabs. The day was beautiful a sunny sun and clouds the waters was very calm and blue. He admires how the fishermen work hard to capture these crabs. So the fisherman was very kind to give some crabs that he captured since he is a guest to a new country. Plieas Foggwas happy he continues his visit more into the town. He notice something that that the town is decorated with festive decorations. He went more into town and saw man selling jalapeños and the vendor sees that he is not from this area. The vendor asks if Philaes would like to taste the vendor jalapeños and of course he said yes. When he tasted the jalapeño he cried on how spicy the jalapeño was but delicious. The vendor gave him a bag of jalapeños. So he went on and smelled a sent off quesadillas. He saw a gather crowd and saw two women cooking the quesadillas. He complemented the quesadillas how it smelled. The women ask if he would like to make one it was really simple to make but before he tried he had the ingredients that the other locals gave him and put it together. The locals were thrilled on how he put all the different kind of food into one and so he stayed for the festival.

Price

The amount of money charged for a product .Also the customers exchanges for the benefits or product or service.

“If consumers thought the best deal was simply a question of money saved, we’d all be shopping in one big discount store,”
“Hard to find, impossible to pronounce, and prohibitively expensive.”
“In these economic times, people are … being much more thoughtful before making purchases …. Now, we’re going to be even more focused on helping consumers see value.”

The price that I would put for my product is two dollars and ten cents. The reason why I chosen this price is because the crab is a little expensive to get. Also the rest of the ingredients.

Distribution

many companies used a single channel to sell to a single market or market segment. Today, with the proliferation of customer segments and channel possibilities, more and more companies have adopted the multichannel —often called hybrid marketing channels. Such multichannel marketing occurs when a single firm sets up two or more marketing channels to reach one or more customer segments.

Multichannel distribution systems offer many advantages to companies facing large and complex markets. With each new channel, the company expands its sales and market coverage and gains opportunities to tailor its products and services to the specific needs of diverse customer segments. But such multichannel systems are harder to control, and they generate conflict as more channels compete for customers and sales. For example, when John Deere began selling selected consumer products through Lowe’s home improvement stores, many of its dealers complained loudly. To avoid such conflicts in its Internet marketing channels, the company routes all of its Web site sales to John Deere dealers.

Enterprise began expanding its distribution system by directly challenging Hertz and Avis in the on-airport market.

The way that I would distribution my product world wide is by able to send my product to all bars.the way how the product are sent is by airplane or by ship.then into trucks. Also in the United States the product will be traveling by trucks

Promotion

Personal presentation by the firm’s sales force for the purpose of making sales and building customer relationships.Short-term incentives to encourage the purchase or sale of a product or service.

“advertisers need to look at old media and new media as just plain media.”
“Buy our product,” sales promotion says, “Buy it now.” Sales promotion effects are often short-lived, however, and often are not as effective as advertising or personal selling in building long-run brand preference and customer relation.
“For eyes that are shining, for cheeks like the dawn / For beauty that lasts after girlhood is gone / For prices in reason, the woman who knows / Will buy her cosmetics from Aesclyptos.”

The way that I would promote my snack that i would take a picture of the product with a ice cold beer or a good looking alcohol  drink next to it or behind it. After that I took the picture I would post it on social media and put a brochure of all items that would taste good with the a specific drink. All of the bars customer would be interested.

Product

The development of original products, product improvements, product modifications, and new brands through the firm’s own product-development efforts.

“when winners and losers get created,”

“solid-sounding” doors.
“This is transformational for our brand,”

The product is a snack form the film Around the world in 80 days. The snack can be a sale to a bar. The product should have a salty or spicy flavored. To go with a cold beer or any other alcohol. Also the snack need to be served any time of the day.

My product is spicy. When their mouth is on fire they would want  to drink their beer. This snack is great to sell in a bar. The quesadilla has jalepeno ,cheese, and crab. This snack is a great snack with two queasdilla in one plate.

Target Marketing Strategy

The process of evaluating each market segment’s attractiveness and selecting one or more segments to enter.
“Location-based technology allows [marketers] to reach people when they’re mobile, near their stores, looking to make a decision,”
 “mass customization.”

When he went to converse with them he saw that the fishermen have captured some crabs. Phileas Fogg asks if he may have some crabs. While Phlieas fogg went into town he found out to be in a festival going on. He saw entertainment and smells food. When he went to the festival he saw a group of people selling jalapenos. He encounters a vendor selling jalapeños. The vendor asks if Phileas Fogg would be interested in tasting one of his jalapeños. Phileas fogg got excited he took a quick bite. He complemented how spicy and delicious the jalapeño. The vendor notice that Phileas is not from around here. The vendor was kind enough to give Phileas Fogg a Bag of jalapeños. Phileas continues to walk more into the festival. He saw an elderly woman and her young daughter making something. Phileas Fogg got curios and he asks what they were making. The daughter told him that they were making some quesadillas.  The elderly woman told Phileas to try making one. He told them that it was easy and anybody came make them. Then he got the idea of combining the food that he gathers from the people he talks to. He asks if they had a pot of hot water so he can cook the crabs so they did. While the crab is cooking Phileas cuts the jalapeños and when the crab was ready he take the meat of the crab and puts the crab and the jalapeños into the quesadillas. While the quesadillas were cooking he saw the fisherman that gave to Phileas Fogg ask the fisherman to come over and sit down with him and have a quesadillas he made. Together they enjoy the rest of day and tell stories of their adventures.

Marketing at work 5.2 GE: Building B-to-B Customer Partnerships EOC

The types of decisions and the decision process for business. Business buyers seem more complex when into buying decisions than do consumer buyers. As for business their purchases often involve large sum of money. Also technical and economic. Some business buyers may take longer to make their decisions.  During all stages of the buying process are forming helping customers define problems to find solution to support after a sale operation. A group of individuals and units play a role of business purchasing. By making the process also by those who influences the buying decisions, those who do actual buying and the one that hold the buying the information.  A major influence is economic. Some will think that the buyers will favor the supplier who offers the lowest price. “Anyone who says the economy is not a challenge is totally in denial”. Business marketers use their sales forces or advertising to alert customers to potential problems and then show their products. In the next step of buying process the buyer conducts a supplier search to find the best vendors. The most major supplier’s retailers are such like Wal- Mart, Target, home depot, and Lowes. The adoption process is to help potential customers past concerns about the uncertain economy like Hyundai offered an assurance program protecting customers against lost jogs. The meaning of adoption is that the consumer decides to make full and regular use of the new product. The process which each individual passes from the first hearing about an innovation to final adoption. Of how this works of the adoption process is when a new product comes. When it interests the customers when something new comes. When a process called diffusion occurs when a purchase is going to be done. By the most prefer brand. So for on the marking is going of how the consumer goods come when put into the business.
